We are continuing to ramp up registrations and sponsorships for Connections and we are currently at 47 registrations and 11 sponsors. We have also added exhibitor marketing emails to our Connections Communication plan. An email went out on Monday (12/18) promoting sponsorships, and another broader registration push is coming up on 12/20 as our last push before Christmas.

As a reminder, early bird pricing registration pricing expires on Feb. 9th and early-bird sponsorship pricing expires on 12/29 so be sure to be pushing these discounted rates to your contacts and customers! We’re looking forward to hitting the ground running in the new year with all things Connections so we can hit our registration and sponsorship goals.

    Marketing will be aggressively promoting our conference but we need your help to get our customers and prospects there. The invitation can be viewed here. Download an Outlook version to forward to customers.

    Please use this PowerPoint slide (Connections 2024 Promo Slide.pptx) in your customer facing meetings. These meetings are a great opportunity for you to discuss the conference, drive awareness, and build attendance.

Golden Tickets:

TicketEach Sales rep has been given 1 Golden Ticket to Connections. With this ticket you are able to invite ONE customer or prospect to Connections and we will waive their registration cost (attendee will still be required to pay for hotel/flights). Sales Golden Tickets MUST be used by February 9, 2024. AMS Discount Codes:
Codes have been shared with eligible AMS Users through an email earlier this month and AMS codes can be found here: AMS Discount Codes.xlsx. Please encourage your customers to redeem their free passes and register for Connections 2024. Marketing is proactively promoting the conference to this target audience as well.

We are aiming to provide the most incentivized experience for our sponsors so they can meet their business goals, and are now offering early-bird pricing to any sponsor that commits by December 31st.  The goal with early-bird pricing is to encourage sponsors to lock in their commitment early.

Digital Marketing

Digital Marketing’s strategy throughout 2023 was dedicated to iPipeline’s global website redesign and launch. A welcoming aesthetic, compelling content, intuitive navigation, and effective calls-to-action set great businesses apart from the competition and ignite revenue opportunities. Our new global website will work to expand our digital footprint, build our brand recognition, strengthen our position in the industry, and complement our sales funnel. The completion of this year-long project was the first step in our multi-phase digital transformation. Up next in 2024 – digital advertising!

The Event Team is working hard building Connections 2024 and is taking full advantage of our new dates and location to build an incredible experience (and educational lineup) for our customers, prospects, and the industry! For our 2024 event, we have been working on some pretty exciting enhancements – see below to check them out!

NEW! Emcee Selection:

Meet Meggie Palmer, Founder of PepTalkHer, speaker, journalist and Connections 2024 Emcee. Meggie is passionate about topics such as Imposter Syndrome and driving change using technology. Meggie specializes in being a high-energy, interactive host and will be key in keeping our audience engaged and excited throughout the entirety of the conference. In addition to emceeing, she’ll be our guest speaker for the Women’s Luncheon. As the founder of PepTalkHer, an app that specializes in closing the gender pay gap, she has created a community of professional and aspirational women around the world that have come together for a greater cause. We can’t wait for what she has in store for us!

What goes best with an awesome Opening Night Reception at SeaWorld? An incredible World-Class Keynote Speaker, of course! The event team is thrilled to announce that our Connections 2024 Keynote Speaker will be Daymond John, Self-Made Billionaire, CEO of FUBU, and Star of the hit TV Show, Shark Tank! Daymond will tell our attendees his rags-to-riches story, plus give tips on how to have an entrepreneurial mindset. While we are still working out the many details of his keynote presentation, we can’t wait to hear Daymond inspire our attendees. We are also working on securing an official event emcee and will have additional details about that in upcoming announcements.

Updated Pricing: 

This year, we made the exciting decision to switch up our Opening Night Reception (typically held in a Las Vegas club or restaurant) and move it to a location that will fully leverage Orlando and the Florida vibe! The Connections 2024 Opening Reception will take place at SeaWorld, one of the largest marine animal rescue organizations in the world, on Wednesday, May 15 at 7:00pm and will include exclusive, private space for our event attendees inside the theme park along with a mix of indoor/outdoor space, a DJ, a Private Orca Show, Yard Games, and even exclusive, private ride times on SeaWorld’s newest roller coaster, Pipeline! Our Connections 2024 Opening Reception will be a can’t-miss event and we are beyond excited to give our attendees an unforgettable experience.

Our New Global Website is Launching Monday!

We are excited and can't wait til our new global website launches! The website will expand our digital footprint, build our brand recognition, strengthen our position in the industry, and complement our sales funnel. With new features and functionality, a refreshed color palette, and an intuitive navigation bar, the new website is made with the user in mind to minimize customer decision complexity. By enhancing our presence on third-party sites like Celent and dominating LinkedIn with eye-catching infographics and videos, we made great progress. New names, new products — our year was all about crafting cool stuff that wows customers and slays the market!

Content & Comms

In 2023, we expanded our PR reach, hitting various life insurance, annuities, wealth, technology, and national publications. We highlighted partnerships – like Advisor Group, Navy Mutual, LIBRA, and American National – as well as events – including Connections and Schwab – and promoted news about iPipeline people – including announcing our new CEO, the addition of our Customer Satisfaction group, and three key executives new hires. We also increased the number of authored articles, including pieces authored by Bobby Powell, Roy Goodart and Bill Hunter in trade publications such as Private Wealth, Family Wealth, and Life Annuity Specialist. Overall, our PR efforts in 2023 are nearly triple that of those in 2022.

Throughout November and December, Marketing and Sales will be executing initiatives designed to push and promote Laser App by targeting two different audiences:

  • Recent Laser App cancellations in an effort to “win back” their business
  • Current Laser App customers who have the opportunity to add additional reps to their existing subscription

For the Laser App Win-Back initiative, we are offering this target audience $100 off a 12-month subscription if they resubscribe by 12.31.23. See an example of the email promotion to the right.
